Calculator input
Our calculator code uses height, weight, unit choice, BMI and category only in temporary browser memory. It does not put these values in the URL, cookies or browser storage, send them in requests, or include them in application logs, analytics, feedback context or advertising targeting. We do not maintain a server database of calculations.
Reset and changing units clear the calculator's active input and result. Browser features such as autofill, history restoration and the back/forward cache work independently; these actions cannot guarantee that your browser has erased every trace.
There is no visitor analytics, session replay, heatmap or calculation-completion tracking. This privacy page loads no feedback, advertising or consent-provider scripts.
Optional feedback
When you choose Give feedback, we load a Tally form to collect your message and optional category and email address. We send only fixed site, page, component, language, release and environment identifiers. We do not attach your height, weight, BMI, category or other calculator values or page query string. Please leave out health information, body measurements and other sensitive details.
We use feedback to improve the site and may use your optional email only for follow-up about your message. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding and fixing product problems. Feedback is not a marketing subscription.
Tally receives your message and ordinary connection information, including your IP address. See Tally’s privacy policy (opens in a new tab). We remove the optional contact field and minimise personal details before sending feedback to OpenAI’s Codex for AI-assisted analysis. This processing uses external services and does not happen entirely on your device. International processing and provider recovery periods may apply; see OpenAI’s privacy policy (opens in a new tab).
Access is limited to the operator and authorised processing. We may keep restricted backups of feedback and review progress in Google Drive; see Google’s privacy policy (opens in a new tab). We review raw feedback and its backups for deletion after 90 days. Recovery periods may apply. We retain minimised improvement themes only while needed, and a person decides what to change. AI analysis does not make decisions about you with legal or similarly significant effects. Use the contact details below or on Publisher & contact for a privacy request.
Hosting and search information
Cloudflare delivers the site and receives ordinary connection and request information, including IP address, requested public page, browser information and request time. Our calculator values are not part of those requests. We use hosting information to deliver and secure the site, based on our legitimate interest in reliable operation.
Cloudflare also processes service and security information under its privacy policy. Processing may occur outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area. Its Data Processing Addendum describes processor obligations and international transfer safeguards. We have not established a single retention period for every copy of its connection and security information.
Search services may provide aggregated search impressions and clicks through Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools. These tools do not add visitor analytics scripts to this site or receive calculator input from our code.
Advertising and Google code
Advertising and advertising-consent scripts are disabled in this initial version. Our site sets no cookies. Optional Tally feedback has the separate processing described above.
While advertising is disabled, our advertising code creates no browser storage. If enabled later, it uses minimal ad-privacy flags to stop requests after a failure or withdrawal and to reopen privacy choices only when you ask. These flags contain no body measurements, BMI, category or profile. Google may use its own consent and advertising storage.
A later Google AdSense placement is planned after the calculator. Before activation, provider approval and the required regional consent, refusal, withdrawal and opt-out behaviour must be verified. This privacy information and the available controls must reflect the configuration that is actually active.
Google code running on the calculator page can technically access its fields, page content and keyboard interaction. Our own code's local handling cannot prevent access by other scripts on that same page. We do not supply body measurements, BMI or category for targeting. A network check can show observed requests for a tested version; it cannot guarantee that third-party code will never read or transmit a value.
You can read this privacy page without loading those providers. Return to the calculator only when you are ready to use it.
Contact and privacy requests
If you email privacy@guansoft.dev, we use your sender details and message to respond, investigate a correction or meet a legal obligation. Email providers process the message for delivery and storage. Please do not include health information or body measurements.
We retain correspondence only while needed for the enquiry, resulting correction or legal obligation, then remove it when no longer needed. Provider retention and recovery copies may also apply.
Where the GDPR applies, you may ask for access, correction, erasure or restriction, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and request portability where its conditions are met. Rights have legal limits. Applicable requests are normally answered within one month; we explain any permitted extension within that month and may need information to verify identity. You may complain to your competent data protection authority, including the Dutch Data Protection Authority, without contacting us first. See the GDPR.
